LINQ to Hive lets you author Hive queries using LINQ. The LINQ is compiled to Hive and then executed on your Hadoop cluster. This job is submitted using the WebHCat Client. This can connect to a cluster hosted in Azure if a username and password are provided.

Which port number is needed in the webHCatUri URI. Also does it need to be configured or opened in the Hadoop cluster.
